Brief History About Dr. Paul Ruzila
Getting to know your Doctor
Dr. Paul Ruzila was born and raised in Fairfax, Virginia. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh before earning his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. He also earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Biology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. Dr. Ruzila is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, is a Fellow of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture, and practices Graston Technique, and Kinesio-Taping.
Dr. Ruzila has quickly become Chicago’s leading Chiropractic authority as he has been featured on ABC News, has been published in many health related publications, and is a frequent guest lecturer at many corporate health events. In addition, Dr. Ruzila distinguished himself as a determined and successful athlete as a football letterman at the University of Pittsburgh receiving numerous honors such as Bell Atlantic Scholar Athlete, Washington Post Athlete of the Week, and being selected by his peers for the Crittenberger Award for outstanding achievement in academics, athletics, and community service.
Currently Dr. Ruzila is on staff as the Midwest consultant for the Fourth Down Kicking Camps Inc. which holds football camps for high school, college, and professional athletes. He is also a health consultant to clients across the country developing fitness programs, including weight training, aerobic activities, and nutritional counseling.
